Yet Another “Declaration Of War”:

This one would have gone entirely unnoticed had it not been for Ron Paul. It was largely unreported in

the US or elsewhere. On April 22, the US House debated a Comprehensive Iran Sanction, Accountability

and Divestment Act” - HR 2194. Mr Paul rose in the House and labelled it correctly as an act of WAR.

Mr Paul pointed out that the sanctions in this bill - introduced into legislation almost exactly a year ago -

would be impossible to enforce without a full blockade. He went on to point out that such an action

would be an act of war according to international law. Finally, Mr Paul made reference to the clear and

obvious similarities between

·         the scare tactics used to get this bill to the floor of the House and

·         the tactics used to justify the US invasion of Iraq.

Clearly, the US government does not WANT to add Iran to Iraq

and Afghanistan. But equally clearly, they are leaving that option open, just in case.
